Shadow Boxes for Collectibles Without Using Glue A lock-down box with foam on the inside is a good way to frame three dimensional objects without using glue or other adhesives. The locks prevents the box from being opened by others which helps with theft prevention or the spilling of contents by somebody who doesn't care about your collection as much as you do. The foam softly presses the objects against the glass, keeping them firmly in place. Using this method, you don't have to favor one side of a collectible over the other permanently. The box can be opened and the objects can actually be held, which adds to the enjoyment of the collectibles. Glue is not a good thing for valuable collectibles, but a nice collection should be displayed. Arrowheads, medals, tokens, and metal detecting treasures are just a few collectibles that look good in these frames. Many craft stores sell the supplies to put together the frames yourself, but it is fairly inexpensive to buy them assembled. There are many suppliers on the internet.
